Overload
A strange red mark appears on a high-school student’s neck. Slowly it moves into his body, and into his life.
The film begins somewhere ordinary and follows its character into perception he can no longer trust. Sound, space, the body’s reactions and the pressure in his head pile up until the familiar world turns subtly strange.
It is less about one event than about a limit: what happens when a person takes in more than he can carry.
How it was made
Thirty days. Generated imagery throughout, organised the way a film is: script, visual concept, character and location design, storyboards, shots, sound, finishing. The aim was a complete production process, not a sequence of separate generated images.
